The word "set" can be defined and interpreted in many different ways depending mainly on its context. Whereas the word can be used as an adjective, verb or noun, my interpretation of the word "set" is focused on the basic notion of "groups", where collective individuals are gathered together based on their similar characteristics. The basing of similarities is the set of rules that generally create this grouping. The setting of the rules brings forth the second interpretation of the word ‘set’. ‘Set’ in this situation is used as a verb to describe the notion of transforming the state of individuals. From undecided to decided, uncertain to certain to the idea of from liquid to solid (the idea of letting the cake set), set is used to describe the motion of this change of state. An individual belonging to a set where its status is changed by the setting of a different set of rules can then be considered as being set free from its previous bound state.
